A warm welcome to a very friendly pub - the Gate Inn at Amington, near Tamworth.

The Gate is situated in the large village of Amington, about 2 miles east of Tamworth town centre and within a short distance from the main A5 trunk road and the M42 motorway, The pub is right by Bridge 69 on the Coventry Canal, where we have moorings for several boats, and outside we have a large car park for up to 60 cars, a lawned garden with a barbecue, and a play area for children.

Our current opening hours are 11am-11pm on Mondays to Saturdays and 12noon-10.30pm on Sundays.

Theme days and evenings are held at various time, the best known one being the “Gate Gallop” held in June each year for a local charity.
